Sparrow FY is a face-swapping flight game where your photo becomes the bird. Navigate through pipes, dodge obstacles, and chase high scores — all while watching your own face flap through a beautiful sky. It's like Flappy Bird had a glow-up and got a passport photo.
We built this because regular Flappy Bird clones are boring. Slapping your professor's face on a sparrow and watching it crash into pipes? Now that's entertainment. Sparrow FY takes the classic tap-to-fly mechanic and wraps it in a sky-blue, glassmorphism-infused, Aether Drift design system that looks way too premium for a game about a bird smashing into things.
We are the SPARROW GANG — just three gays: Abdul Wahab, M. Kashan, and Shahzaib — who turned a Final Year Project deadline into an actual game that people can play. Built at ZABTECH fueled by chai, peer pressure, and the absolute refusal to make another boring CRUD app.
Upload any photo. The game clips it into a circle and composites it onto the sparrow's face region in real-time using Canvas2D.
Gravity, velocity, jump strength — all tuned for that perfect "one more try" feeling. No frameworks, pure vanilla JS math.
Procedurally generated pipes with randomized gaps. Gradient shaders and cap highlights give them that premium arcade feel.
Every jump sprays blue particles. Every crash explodes in orange. Because even failure should look beautiful.
